The original recipe came from Gracious Goodness ...... Charleston! The slightly modified version appears below.
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
3 eggs
2 cups crunchy peanut butter
1/4 tsp vanilla
4 1/2 cups oats
2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup M & M's
6 oz chocolate chips
1 cup raisins (optional)
Cream butter with sugars and then add eggs one at a time. Mix well and then add the peanut butter, vanilla, oats, baking soda and salt. Mix well and then stir in M & M's, chocolate chips and raisins. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 - 15 minutes. Makes 5 - 6 dozen cookies.
I did all the mixing and stirring in my kitchen aid mixer.
